Sociology Optional Strategy for 2025-
Sociology can be covered in 3 months and further 3 months for answer writing.....total 5/6 months it should take around depending upon the students dedication and effort.
There are 3 Larger ways to cover Sociology Optional:-
1:- Through standard books like Harlombous, Ritzer, IGNOU etc
2:- Through notes and material prepared by previous year toppers or any coaching material.
3:- Through video lectures of institute.
Note:- Sociology Optional can be covered through any one of these methods.
2nd & 3rd ways are easier comparatively.
* Optional will be completed only when it is supplemented with answer writing. Without doing answer writing for all the chapters....it's not at all done. Even clarity of concepts get fumble when it is not backed up with answers writing accordingly.
Optional subject should be completed from by July or August 2024 with syllabus coverage and answers writing (3 months each) if an aspirant is targetting 2025 attempt.
From September onwards aspirants can focus on General Studies mains portion largely along with MCQs practice for prelims. This GS preparation should go around January and afterward prelims should be targeted solely.
Means while daily 1 hr should be there for revision....so that you should not forget previously covered syllabus of GS or optional.
As after prelims.....we have around 80 to 90 days....this time period should be for refined practice not for syllabus completion.
